Caschette Named to the American Board of Trial Advocates

DENVER - Attorney Richard Caschette, founding partner of Starrs Mihm Caschette LLP who has first-chaired over 125 complex civil and criminal trials, has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

In order to be inducted into ABOTA, a lawyer must have tried a minimum of 20 civil jury trials to conclusion and also must be approved by at least 75 percent of the existing membership. Currently, 70 Colorado lawyers are ABOTA members.

Caschette is a former first assistant United States attorney for Colorado. He is also a former Denver deputy district attorney in Denver.

He received his bachelor's degree from Fordham University cum laude in 1976, and his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1979.
